Memories
Memories From First Climb
On my first climb in 2010, we did not make it to the summit due to blizzard conditions!!  We were within 2 miles of the summit and turned around.  I felt like the jinx and that we had failed.   I later realized our teamwork and smart decisions kept us all safe.
Memories From First Member Year
It was such an amazing honor to lead his historic club up the mountain.   I felt like I was king of the mountain!
Memories of Family
Waving goodbye to my kids while hiking up the trail gives me tears every year.  I can't imagine what it's like for a soldier to leave his family.
Favorite Memories from Climbing Fourteeners
I would not be an AdAmAn member without the encouragement of my dear friend and fellow AdAmAn member Dr. Chuck Fogleman.
Memories from Favorite Mountain Climb
I love an adventure. I loved the craziness of having to turn around in 2010. There were less than 10 of us left in the lead group. I was shocked to see Ted Lindeman still with the group after over 40 climbs with his thick glasses completely frosted over.
Memories of Favorite Gear
Memories of Worst Gear Failure
I didn't realize that Barr Camp cabins were so well heated at night, so on my first climb I packed a nearly 10 pound sleeping bag all the way up the mountain!
